TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State football added another commitment to their 2024 recruiting class this weekend. Three-star corner Nikko Klemm has pledged his allegiance to play football at ASU this upcoming season. Klemm is rated as the 114th-best cornerback in the class of 2024. Additionally, Klemm ranks as the 86th-best player in the state of California according to 247 Sports.

Arizona State football adds three-star recruit

Klemm announced his commitment to Arizona State football Sunday evening via social media.

Along with Arizona State, Klemm also had offers from the following schools.

  • BYU
  • Campbell
  • Colorado State
  • Florida AM
  • Hawaii
  • Nevada
  • Northern AZ
  • Oregon
  • SDSU
  • West Virginia
  • Wisconsin

A very impressive list of schools but he chose the Sun Devils over all of them in the end. This past season Klemm played eight games at Junipero Serra High School and racked up:

  • 19 solo tackles
  • 22 assisted tackles
  • 41 total tackles
  • one sack
  • two interceptions
  • one fumble recovery

With those stats, Klemm helped Serra to a 12-1 record and 7-0 in league play until they met one of the best teams in the country, Mater Dei. Klemm has an older brother, Jalen, who is an offensive tackle and transferred to ASU this past cycle from Washington. His father, Adrian is also in the football industry and was an associate head coach at Oregon when Dillingham was there. Adrian also had a distinguished playing career winning three Super Bowls with the Patriots in the 2000’s.

It is sure to be a family affair for the Klemm’s in Tempe this upcoming season.

Arizona State football’s 2024 recruiting class now sits at No. 7 in the Big 12 and No. 48 overall.
