TEMPE, Ariz. — ASU football made some noise on the recruiting trail yesterday, picking up a commitment from four-star WR Adrian Wilson. Wilson is the sixth pledge of the 2025 recruiting class for the Sun Devils and the first receiver pledge of Hines Ward’s coaching career at Arizona State.

Kenny Dillingham and Co. added their seventh commitment of the 2025 class today with three-star linebacker Isaiah Iosefa.

Isaiah Iosefa commits to ASU football

Isaiah Iosefa is a linebacker from Waipahu High School in Waipahu, Hawaii. Iosefa is the No. 1061 overall prospect in the 2025 class, the No. 93 linebacker, and the eighth-best prospect in Hawaii.

Last season was one of Iosefa’s best seasons in high school totaling:

  • 38.5 tackles
  • Six tackles for loss
  • Two sacks
  • Two interceptions
  • Two-pass breakups
  • One touchdown

Currently, the rising senior is listed as 6’1, an impressive length for a linebacker.

Iosefa continues the “Polynesian Pipeline” that ASU football is establishing under Dillingham.

Arizona State football has a history with successful Polynesian players, including players like Junior Ah You (All-American defensive lineman for ASU in 1971) and defensive tackle Dan Saleaumua. Saleaumua was All Pac-10 in 1984 and 1985.

Iosefa joins current Polynesian players on the roster like Shancco “Ise” Matautia, Joey Su’a, Terrell Kim, and Semisi Tonga to name a few.

“We’re making a new movement for Polynesians,” Kim told 247 Sports. “We have so many Polynesian linemen coming in, I think over the next few years Arizona State is going to really be something special.”

ASU football’s newest pledge is another addition to the Polynesian Pipeline in Tempe.
