TEMPE, Ariz. — Several Arizona State athletes are holding a meet and greet at local restaurant Burrito Express. The event will take place this Saturday, August 19th, between 1 and 2:30 p.m. Five different Sun Devils will be in attendance. Coben, Trenton, and Rylen Bourguet will be joined by ASU football wide receiver Elijhah Badger and tight end Jalin Conyers.

Five Arizona State athletes hold meet and greet

Burrito Express is a local burrito joint off the corner of Rural and University, and they’ve become a staple of the Tempe food scene. They’re known for their tasty and affordable burritos that college students (and many others) love. In this new NIL era, they’ve also developed a new reputation.

The local restaurant has partnered with many Sun Devil athletes, including the five that will be attending the meet and greet. Their exuberant social media personality has won over the ASU fanbase, and they’ve been praised for their ability to help certain student-athletes at ASU via NIL.

Meet the athletes in attendance

Let’s take a closer look at the athletes ASU fans can meet at Burrito Express on Saturday.

Coben Bourguet: Coben is 1/3 of the Bourguet siblings that compete in a sport at Arizona State. He’s a redshirt sophomore that plays wide receiver for the football team. As a redshirt freshman last season, he was unable to see the field but was a vital part of the scout team.

Trenton Bourguet: Trenton is a redshirt junior quarterback and a name all Arizona State fans should know. After a concussion sidelined starting QB Emory Jones last season, Trenton stepped up to the test. He came in and helped deliver a crucial home victory over No. 21 Washington. Last season he threw for 1,490 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Rylen Bourguet: The youngest of the three Bourguets on campus, Rylen is an incoming freshman. She will be competing on Arizona State’s beach volleyball team this year. She’s the only non-football player at the meet and greet.

Elijhah Badger: Badger is one of the top returning players for Arizona State football this season. The wide receiver was a preseason all-Pac-12 honorable mention. Last season he had 70 receptions for 866 yards and seven touchdowns.

Jalin Conyers: Conyers was also named a preseason all-Pac-12 honorable mention. The tight end had a breakout season last year, especially in the second half of the season. He finished with 38 receptions for 422 yards and five touchdowns.
