Arizona State basketball predictions against BYU
ASU: 65 BYU: 73
Great start to the season for BYU and not so much for ASU. The ball handling and numerous missed three-point attempts have been an issue for ASU, and I think that continues. BYU is better on both ends to this point and that will show tonight. – Cooper Burns (2-0)
ASU: 63 BYU: 71
BYU has had a great start to its season, ranked 15 in the Kenpom rankings. I think ASU is beginning to get more rhythm and chemistry on offense, but it’s still a work in progress. I think 3-point shooting will be key for the Sun Devils tonight, and I don’t think they’ll hit enough. This is a big test early for the Sun Devils. They bounced back from a rough season opener with back-to-back uneasy wins. A win tonight would be huge for the confidence of this newly crafted team. However, I don’t think they’ll be able to get it done. – Douglas Santo (2-0)
BYU 75 – ASU 71
BYU comes out on top in a preview of future conference opponents. The Sun Devils will miss center Shawn Phillips Jr. as their rebounding struggles will continue which will ultimately cost them the game. -Anthony D’Amato (2-0)
