Arizona State football predictions against UCLA

TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State football looks to get their first road win of the season against UCLA on Saturday. The Sun Devils are 0-3 on the road this season and are looking to bounce back after a 55-3 loss to Utah last weekend.

Without wasting any more time, we’ll get right into our Sun Devil Daily staff predictions, for their matchup at the Rose Bowl with UCLA.

Arizona State football vs UCLA game predictions

UCLA: 27 Arizona State: 10

I think there is going to be a lot of emotion in this game since it is the last time these two will meet for the foreseeable future. I think ASU is going to have a hard time scoring on the UCLA defense. The ASU defense will start off strong but will get worn down as it goes on. – Cooper Burns (8-1)

UCLA: 24 Arizona State: 13

I think Arizona State keeps it close but ultimately is too beat up to win this game. UCLA has one of the top defenses in the conference, and like last week, I think the Sun Devils will struggle to move the ball. Even though Bourguet is back, I think it will give a little boost to the offense but not enough to win this game. I think the defense holds strong early but eventually gets worn down. UCLA protects their home field and beats ASU comfortably. – Douglas Santo (6-3)

UCLA: 21 Arizona State: 10

UCLA has a very strong defense and one that will give this beat-up Arizona State offense trouble. The Sun Devil defense will play with a chip on their shoulder, after their embarrassing performance in Salt Lake City, but it won’t be enough. UCLA’s rushing attack and strong play from their offensive line will wear down ASU’s defense, and the offense never gets going. ASU goes winless on the road in 2023. – Brendon Pricco (6-3)
