Brown will be in Tempe for an official visit this upcoming weekend.
Arizona State schedules an official visit with Raleek Brown
At USC Brown tallied over 400 total yards and six touchdowns as a true freshman. As a sophomore, the Calif. native only played in two games.
Assuming his sophomore year goes down as a redshirt season since he only played in two games, Brown would have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Arizona State’s biggest challenger in Brown’s recruitment looks to be the Washington Huskies. However, ASU is in a very good spot with an official visit coming up.
Brown spoke with 247 Sports’ Greg Biggins about his upcoming visit to the desert.
“I’m very excited about the visit to ASU,” Brown said. “I’ve been talking with (wide receivers) coach Samples a lot and coach Dillingham as well… Coach Dillingham is a good offensive-minded head coach. I remember when he was calling the plays at Oregon, they had a really good offense.”
Brown plans on thinking through his decision, but a decision could be soon for the highly touted prospect.
“I should be making a decision soon here,” Brown continued. “I’m still talking to a few other schools, so we’ll see what happens… I’m going to take this visit to ASU and then evaluate what I want to do. I like the ASU staff, they have been very straightforward with me so far, so I’m looking forward to meeting everyone in person.”
