TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State football looks to end their six-game losing streak on Saturday against Washington State. Last week the Sun Devil Daily staff went 3-0 in our predictions for the Washington game. Once again this week, we’re all on the same page. Without wasting any more time, let’s jump into our predictions for Arizona State vs Washington State.

Arizona State vs Washington State football predictions

Arizona State: 24 Washington State: 20

I think ASU finally picks up its second win of the season with a big win over Washington State. The Sun Devils have been playing better and better each week and head coach Kenny Dillingham continues to reiterate the team is playing winning football, just not winning. I think that will change on Saturday. The defense plays well again and slows down Cameron Ward and the WSU offense. The offense gets into a bit of a groove and moves the ball down the field giving the defense time to rest. I think ASU wins more 50/50 balls on the offensive side to keep drives alive and get into the end zone. I think the defense forces a few turnovers to give the offense some short fields. ASU puts together a complete game and gets their first conference win of the season. – Douglas Santo (4-3)

Arizona State: 31 Washington State: 27

Arizona State rides momentum off a good performance in Seattle. Washington State has been struggling the past few weeks and going on the road will continue to give them issues. – Cooper Burns (6-1)

Arizona State: 21 Washington State: 17

I think this has the potential to be a very ugly game, but that plays in Arizona State’s favor. The Sun Devils are a few possessions away from being a 4-3 team, and I think this weekend they finally break through. Washington State’s offense has been slipping, and their defense has consistently been on the lower end in the conference. If Arizona State can put together even a few quality drives, that could be enough in this one. – Brendon Pricco (4-3)
