TEMPE, Ariz. — ASU football is capping off the spring with its annual Spring Game. On Friday, April 26, ASU will host their spring game at 6:00 pm at Mountain America Stadium. Here’s everything you need to know about the Spring Game!

ASU football Spring Game information

There will be free parking on Friday for the Spring Game, a welcoming sign for Sun Devil fans. Not only will there be on-field activities, but there are various festivities for fans to partake in around the venue on Friday.

In the North Parking Lot, there will be food trucks, a fan zone, as well as inflatables. There will also be a photo booth, tailgate games, cornhole, and more in the area. Not only will there be many pregame festivities, but the scrimmage will be followed by a post-game fireworks show. Concessions will also be 50% off, a good deal for fans looking to try out some of the new food items at the stadium.

Now, let’s talk about what the on-field product will look like on Friday.

Kenny Dillingham explains the 2024 Spring Game format

“Friday’s gonna be a little different though,” Dillingham began. “It’s not gonna be just a scrimmage, it’s gonna be a lot of competitions. We’re gonna have a punt competition, we’re gonna have a ‘you have to field a punt’ O-lineman and D-lineman competition. We’re gonna have a kickoff competition, a field goal competition. Special teams one-on-one competitions. We’re gonna have a one-on-one battle, wideout vs DB, linebacker vs runningback. And then we’ll do a little bit of 11-on-11.”

The Spring Game will offer fans an opportunity to see high-level competition and be exposed to many new players on the roster.

“… It’s time to showcase some of the guys… that don’t always get to be on TV,” Dillingham continued. “… It’s time to showcase those guys, and on the Pac-12 Network for the last time, let those guys be seen for a little bit. Let their parents see them, let the community see them… because we need every guy on our team to be bought in.”
