TEMPE, Ariz. — Kenny Dillingham and ASU football gained a pledge from their first in-state recruit for the 2025 recruiting class this weekend. Over the weekend, while taking an official visit to Tempe, Rylon Dillard-Allen committed to ASU. Dillard-Allen is a three-star safety and the fourth-best player in the state of Arizona (247 Sports).
Now the staff is focusing on another Arizona native, this player sitting at the top of the in-state rankings.
ASU football makes the top five for Logan Powell
247 Sports ranks Logan Powell as the No. 1 player in Arizona in the 2025 recruiting class. They rank the offensive lineman No. 229 overall in the class and as the No. 24 offensive tackle. Powell is a four-star recruit.
Powell attends Brophy College Preparatory, just approximately 15 miles away from Tempe. The highly touted recruit cut his list down to five schools today, and the Sun Devils made the cut.
Powell’s list contains Arizona State, Alabama, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Tennessee. The offensive tackle holds 25 offers, including Michigan, Arizona, USC, and many others who didn’t make his shortlist.
According to 247 Sports, the only official visit Powell has scheduled is with the Sun Devils. He will take the short drive over to Tempe for his official on the weekend of May 31.
Currently, ASU football has nine pledges in the 2025 recruiting class. The Sun Devils currently have the No. 18 overall class in college football, and sit third in the Big 12, behind UCF and Texas Tech.
Powell would be a significant addition and give ASU its best in-state recruiting class since 2016 when the Sun Devils brought in N’Keal Harry and Chase Lucas.
