Game times announced for ASU football games

TEMPE, Ariz. – ASU will make its transition from the Pac-12 to the Big 12 in 2024 and ASU football will be the first sport affected by the move.

With the Sun Devils’ first-ever Big 12 football schedule out, on Thursday the kickoff times for the first three games of the season were announced.

ASU Football schedule as of now:

Saturday, August 31: vs Wyoming, 7:30 p.m. on FS1

Saturday, September 7: vs Mississippi State, 7:30 p.m. on ESPN

Thursday, September 12: at Texas State, 4:30 p.m. on ESPN

Saturday, September 21: at Texas Tech, TBD

Saturday, October 5: vs Kansas, TBD

Friday, October 11: vs Utah, 7:30 p.m. on ESPN

Saturday, October 19: at Cincinnati, TBD

Saturday, November 2: at Oklahoma State, TBD

Saturday, November 9: vs UCF, TBD

Saturday, November 16: at Kansas State, TBD

Saturday, November 23: vs BYU, TBD

Saturday, November 30: at Arizona, TBD

The Sun Devils season and home opener will be against the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on the final day of August. The game will be televised on FS1. This will be the first meeting between the two teams since 1977 when ASU won 45-0.

Then ASU has its next two games on ESPN to close out its non-conference schedule before it gets its first taste of the Big 12. The Sun Devils will kick off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN from Tempe and then travel to San Marcos, Texas, and face the Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. on ESPN. This will be ASU’s first-ever meeting with either team.

With all but one of the Big 12 conference schedule kick-off times still up the air, we did find out when ASU will face Utah. The Sun Devils will welcome the Utes to Tempe for a primetime game on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 11.
