TEMPE, Ariz. — Former five-star running back recruit Raleek Brown has transferred to Arizona State. Brown was in Tempe this weekend visiting with Dillingham and the rest of the staff. According to 247 Sports Brown is the No. 2 running back in the transfer portal and No. 27 overall prospect in the portal.
Coming out of high school Brown was a five-star (Rivals) out of Mater Dei High School. He originally played for USC.
Raleek Brown transfers to Arizona State football
Out of high school, Brown was recruited by both Dillingham and also Aguano both of whom were heavily involved in getting him to Tempe this time around.
Brown also had transfer offers from the likes of Oregon, Texas AM, Miami, Washington, Colorado, and others. As for Brown’s time at USC, he had 243 rushing yards and 193 receiving yards along with seven total touchdowns. Majority of his stats came as a true freshman, Brown was a redshirt this past season who only saw three games of action for the Trojans.
While his statistics may not have been overwhelming in college he was one of the most highly touted players out of high school for good reason.
In his time at Mater Dei Brown compiled:
- 4174 rushing yards
- 1600 receiving yards
- 6299 all-purpose yards
- 72 total touchdowns
With the addition, Brown will see a lot of reps at kick return which he played at USC and made some big plays returning kicks.
Kenny Dillingham and Arizona State football just added one of the most explosive players in college football to their roster for next season.
