TEMPE, Ariz. — Arizona State basketball secured another top recruit for 2024 to add to its already impressive class. Three-star 6’ 4 shooting guard Ketraleus “Bo” Aldridge announced on social media his commitment to ASU earlier today. He is currently the thirty-fourth-ranked SG in the country and fifteenth in Arizona. Arizona State is now ranked eleventh in the 2024 recruiting class, according to 247sports.

Arizona State basketball adds three-star guard

Aldridge had more than 12 offers, which included Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tulsa, Mississippi State, and Wichita St. He had taken an unofficial visit to Kansas in June. The guard took an unofficial visit to Arizona State on October 30, four days after he received an offer from head coach Bobby Hurley.

Aldridge graduated from Highland Park High School in May and helped lead his team to a third-place finish in the 5A state tournament. Aldridge was awarded Kansas 5A Boys’ Player of the Year for 2023 when he averaged more than 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

Earlier this year, Aldridge took part in the Adidas 3SSB Circuit on Team Trae Young 17U. The Midwest showcase was April 21-23, and his strong performance helped him gain national attention.

He is now enrolled at PHHoenix Prep. Aldrige is also a part of the Diamond Doves of the Overtime Elite Academy. They began their season on December 4.

Aldridge has been playing the most basketball of his life lately as he gets set to take the next step of his career. His trainer, Jesús “Izzy” Izquierdo, praised his work ethic in an interview with Lawrence Price of The Kansas City Star.

“Bo is one of the few kids that wants to be in the gym,” Izquierdo said. “He’s already talented, but if he stays in the gym being more consistent, there’s no limits for him.”

The 2024 class grows for the Sun Devils

Aldridge now joins a Sun Devils 2024 recruit class that already has national attention. The class includes four-star small forward Amier Ali, four-star power forward Sammie Yeanay, and three-star center Jaden Smith, in addition to the newly committed Aldridge. All of these recruits committed within the last nine days.

This is a huge addition for ASU to bolster its 2024 recruiting class as it gets set to open its 2023 season tomorrow night.
