TEMPE, Ariz. — The good news keeps rolling in for Kenny Dillingham and Arizona State football. Three-star linebacker prospect Salesi Manu announced his commitment to the Sun Devils this evening.
Manu, a three-star linebacker from Reno, NV was one of many players on a visit to ASU this past weekend. Numerous reports have said that overall the recruiting weekend was a huge success and in turn, Dillingham has gotten a return on investment so far.
Arizona State beat out Washington State in Manu’s recruitment. Manu also had offers from BYU, Boise State, Oregon State, and others. Manu took five different visits before making his decision.

As for Manu, 247 Sports ranks him as the No. 82 overall edge player and No. 7 best player in Nevada. During his high school career Manu has put up some impressive numbers:
161 total tackles
68 solo tackles
4.4 tackles per game
21.5 sacks
3 forced/recovered fumbles
54.5 tackles for loss
This season has been a coming-out party for the senior compiling 54 total tackles and 10 sacks in just 12 games.
Manu is the 17th addition to Arizona State football’s 2024 recruiting class. He is the Sun Devils’ third commitment in the last week.
With the addition of Manu, ASU jumps up to eighth in the Big 12 after being ranked ninth before the commitment of Manu.
Manu joins Albert Smith as the two linebackers to commit to ASU in the class of 2024. He is the only commitment from Nevada.
Arizona State football’s 2024 recruiting class currently sits at No. 51 nationally according to 247 Sports.
