TEMPE, Ariz. — Three-star offensive lineman Maki Stewart has announced that he will be visiting Arizona State football soon.

Arizona State football schedules visit with O-line prospect

The 6’4, 322-pound lineman from Long Beach, Calif. announced on social media that he will be visiting Arizona State football on the weekend of April 26-28. Throughout the past few days, we have learned that the weekend of April 26-28 and the following weekend in May are weekends where a large number of recruits will be visiting Tempe, mainly for the Spring Game.

Going back to Stewart, both 247 Sports, and Rivals rank him as a three-star prospect at this moment.

There is plenty of time for that star ranking, along with his positional and state rankings to change as he progresses along with his senior season at Millikan High School.

Stewart recently talked to Chad Simmons of On3.com where he announced his commitment date along with some very nice things to say about ASU during his previous visits.

“I have been there twice with my last visit being in January,” Stewart told On3. “When I am there, it is like being around my family. They are very personal and it is like a family vibe there… The two coaches I have good relationships with are Coach Saga Tuitele and Coach Kenny Dillingham. They keep in contact, they check on me every weekend, and they have been recruiting me since my 10th-grade year, so we have a good bond.”

Other schools involved

Stewart did say that he had visits with USC and Oklahoma lined up but those may not happen as Stewart just recently announced his top five schools in his recruiting process.

The final five schools for Stewart, in no particular order, are:

  • Florida State
  • Utah
  • Texas AM
  • UCF
  • Arizona State

No official dates have been scheduled for his visits besides ASU but he does plan on visiting Utah and Texas AM at least once before he makes his final decision.

As of now, it has been reported that Stewart will most likely make his decision in the coming summer months.
