TEMPE, Ariz. — Three-star safety and Arizona native Rylon Dillard-Allen is set to take an official visit with Arizona State football (first reported by On3 Sports). Dillard-Allen recently announced that he will be visiting ASU beginning April 19th. The three-star prospect is from Phoenix and currently plays his high school football at Mountain Pointe High School.

247 Sports ranks Dillard-Allen as the No.29 safety in the 2025 class and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Arizona. Kenny Dillingham has emphasized his desire to recruit the state of Arizona at a high level, and Dillard-Allen would be a nice reward for his efforts. 247 Sports ranks him as the No. 400 overall player in the nation (2025), tabbing him as a high three-star and not far off from breaking into four-star territory.

Arizona State football locks in official visit with local four-star

Safety Rylon Dillard-Allen had a successful junior season with Mountain Pointe, playing his home games just 10 miles south of Mountain America Stadium. Last season at Mountain Pointe Dillard-Allen compiled 43 total tackles and two interceptions while playing safety.

The 2025 recruit’s on-field performance has been good enough to earn nine scholarship offers. Dillard-Allen holds offers from Arizona State, Arizona, California, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Washington. His first reported offer came from Arizona on Feb. 27, 2023, but that was immediately followed by a Sun Devil offer on the same day. Of course, it’s worth noting that Arizona does not have the same coaching staff that initially recruited Dillard-Allen, opening up things for ASU in this in-state recruiting battle.

Other visits

As of now, Dillard-Allen visited (unofficially) Jedd Fisch and Washington in early Feb. and also has lined up an official visit with Nebraska in April. Currently, Nebraska and Arizona State are the only teams that have publically scheduled an official visit with the three-star safety.

Kenny Dillingham and Co. are firmly in the mix for this local prospect that would without a doubt be a significant addition to ASU’s 2025 recruiting class.

Outside of football

Just like many great high school football players, Dillard-Allen also runs track and is a speedster. The prized recruit runs a sub 4.3 40-yard dash and is a staple in the 4×100-meter relay for his school. Along with all of the sports, Dillard-Allen is an excellent student off the field as well as he holds a 3.5 GPA going into his final year of high school.
